Position Description

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking an individual for the position of Cook in our General Dining & Events department. The responsibilities of this person would be to cook for events and general dining services as directed by the chefs, to assist with the supervising of the seasonal cook staff, and to maintain a sanitary environment.

Position Requirements

This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, catering, or hotel setting. Being bilingual is a plus. There are also physical requirements such as the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, bending, stretching, and standing on your feet all day.
