Position Description

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking an individual for the position of Prep Cook. The responsibilities of the Prep Cook will include preparing food as directed by the chef and cook staff, making sandwiches and salads and maintaining sanitary procedures in the kitchen and food storage area.

This is a seasonal/temporary opportunity.

Position Requirements

Experience cooking in a restaurant, catering, or hotel setting is helpful. Being bilingual is a plus. There are physical requirements for this position such as being able to lift up to 75 pounds, bending, stretching, and standing up on your feet all day.
